Job at Shell Nigeria for an Experienced GDMO Surgeon


Shell companies have been exploring for and producing hydrocarbons for over a century. Today, Exploration & Production (EP) employs some 17,500 people and a further 10,000 contractors worldwide and has interests in ventures in around 40 countries.


We’re currently looking to recruit a GDMO Surgeon to provide occupational, paliative and curative clinical health interventions to all our staff in Nigeria, with the key focus on employees in Port Harcourt.


Responsibilities:

As a GDMO Surgeon, you’ll provide general and specialist medical care to SPDC’s staff and dependants. In detail, this will involve:
* Emergency general and specialist duty care

* Medical evacuation and resuscitation services

* A leadership role in the medical team, providing general and specialist input towards the development of procedures and protocols for the optimisation of our services

* Providing health education for patients, subordinates and management in developing a healthy workforce

* Identifying and maintaining professional skills and knowledge for self-development through internal and external training programmes

* Ensuring the suitability, availability and serviceability of all equipment needed to deliver routine and specialist care.
