1. Job Title: Managing Director

Responsibilities
Ø The successful
candidates will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and
management of the Company, including its joint venture operations in Lagos and
Uyo.
Ø A major focus will
be to develop the company’s sole operated project of the Marginal field.
Ø Drive operational
effectiveness and efficiency in the company and its joint venture.
Ø Provide leadership
to ensure the application of international standards in all operations and HSE
Ø Maintain good
working relationships with JV partners, government agencies, host communities
and other stakeholders
Qualifications
Ø A good first degree
in any science or engineering disciplines from a reputable university
Ø A minimum of 15
years’ upstream experience including extensive general management experience
within an exploration and production company.
Ø Strong interpersonal
skills, particularly relationships building and communication skills.
Ø Ability to manage a
large workforce wit diverse background, maintain relationship with various
stakeholders, including third party contractors, JV partners and government
agencies.
Ø Excellent
leadership, negotiating and influencing skills
Ø High intuition and
good decision-making skills.
2. Job Title: Finance Director

Responsibilities
Ø The successful
candidates will have overall responsibility for the accounting, budgeting, cost
control and financial reporting for the joint venture
Ø A key component of
this role will be to coordinate the preparation of the corporate budget in
liaison with the JV partners, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.
Ø Ensure that all
transactions, accounting records and financial statements adhere to the
relevant accounting reporting standards and Joint Operating Agreement
requirements.
Ø Liaise with Joint
venture operator and asset managers on cost, cost allocations and other
financial matters in order to ensure compliance with Joint Operating
Agreements.
Ø Ensure the
preparation of monthly joint ventures cost forecasts and cash calls, as well as
JV cost, budget and cash reports.
Ø Supervise and review
month and year-end VOWD and ensure accurate and timely accounting for joint
venture assets.
Ø Coordinate periodic
account reconciliation, maintenance of the joint venture account, as well as
monthly and year-end closing of accounts.
Ø Review and analyze
joint venture transactions and financial performance, and participate in joint
venture account audits.
Qualifications
Ø A good first degree
in accounting or any finance related discipline from a reputable institution.
Ø Relevant
professional qualification i.e. (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)
Ø A minimum of 6
years’ experience in joint venture/project accounting in non-operated and
operated assets in the oil and gas industry.
Ø Strong knowledge of
joint venture finance, accounting and reporting standards, including cost
allocation, cash calls, financial analysis and reporting.
Ø Excellent leadership
and interpersonal skills, particularly negotiating, influencing relationship
building and communication skills.
Ø Strong analytical
and problem solving skills.

3. Job Title: Project Manager

Reports to: Managing Director
Responsibilities
Ø The successful
candidates will be responsible for the development and implementation of the
operational plans and management of budgets for all ongoing and future
projects.
Ø In particular, s/he
will ensure that the policies, systems and processes for executing projects
align with the overall strategy of the company.
Ø Oversee the
management system and overall execution of projects.
Ø Supervise the
preparation of scope of work, project scheduled, quality, equipment, materials
and direct supervision on all testing and commissioning activities
Ø Organize various
sections from engineering, construction and procurement in preparing,
establishing, testing and commissioning plans, including hazard and operability
studies.
Ø Coordinate all
sub-contractors and vendors for the testing and commissioning of equipment
before shipment (Factory Acceptance Test).
Ø Prepare weekly and
monthly reports on the commissioning activities and E&I of projects.
Qualifications
Ø A good first degree
in any field of Engineering form a reputable institution. A higher degree in
engineering and/or an MBA will be added advantage.
Ø Relevant Project
Management certification(s) will be a distinct advantage.
Ø A minimum of 15
years’ project management experience in the oil and gas sector.
Ø Working knowledge of
project management tools is essential.
Ø Hands-on experience
in project scheduling and monitoring, project engineering and costing, as well
as the tendering and procurement processes.
Ø Strong knowledge of
joint venture project operations and interface in the oil and gas industry in
non-operated and operated assets.
Ø Good understanding
of the economic evaluation of projects, as well as negotiations and commercial
skills in the oil and gas industry.
Ø Excellent
leadership, negotiating and influencing skills.
