1. Job Title: Manufacturing Development Specialist
Job Summary
The
Manufacturing Development Specialist will
coordinate all manufacturing
activities and influence the implementation of world class manufacturing
processes, identifying, co-operating and actively participating in strategic
improvement initiatives
Duties and Responsibilities
§ Amongst other duties, the
Manufacturing Development Specialist will;
§ Coordinate learning and development
activities for technical production in line with best practice.
§ Train and coach technical staff
where the need arises
§ Implement the brewery plan to
support World Class Manufacturing
§ Implement manufacturing work
practices and principles
§ Provide leadership for on-going
manufacturing development strategies
§ Promote knowledge management
processes
§ Apply value chain and improvement
tools
§ Facilitate and co-ordinate the
technical selection process
§ Provide industrial engineering
support
Qualifications and Skills required
The
occupant of this position should possess;
§ Minimum of B.SC in
Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
§ Minimum of five (5) years relevant
experience preferably in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment
§ Membership of relevant professional
bodies will be an added advantage
Key competencies and attributes:
§ Practical knowledge of manufacturing
development programme
§ Deep technical knowledge of a
brewery
§ Demonstrate high initiative, be

2. Job Title: Training Specialist
(Packaging)
Job Summary:
The Training Specialist
(Packaging) who will report to the Packaging Manager will create and sustain a
progressive learning environment by providing effective service to the value
chain, focused on competence acquisition and performance
Duties and responsibilities
§ Amongst other duties, the Training Specialist
(Packaging) will;
§ Co-ordinate learning, coaching and development
activities for packaging
§ Co-ordinate training assessments on packaging
teams
§ Assist in the development of standard operating
procedures (SOP’s)
§ Carry out competence assessments
§ Deliver shop floor and supervisory training
§ Plan and initiate development and learning
processes
§ Evaluate the efficiency of training
§ Develop and acquire resources and solutions within
area of specialisation
Qualifications and skills
required
The occupant of this position
should possess;
§ Minimum of B.SC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical
Engineering
§ Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
preferably in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment
§ Relevant Technical Certificate
Key competencies and attributes:
§ Knowledge of performance management, human resource
development (HRD), competence assessment practices and training evaluation
§ Deep technical knowledge
§ Deep experience in a brewing, packaging or process
control environment
§ Proven training, coaching and facilitation skills

3. Job Title: Project Engineer/Engineering
Manager
Job Summary:
The Project Engineer/Engineering
Manager will coordinate and manage the plant process and system and maintain
the manufacturing activities to influence the implementation of world class
manufacturing, identifying, co-operating and actively participating in
strategic improvement initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities
§ Amongst other duties, the Project
Engineer/Engineering Manager will;
§ Manage plant process and systems
§ Manage productivity
§ Ensure compliance to Good Engineering standards and
Best Practices
§ Coordinate/manage the overall Plant Maintenance
Budget
§ Develop/implement on larger CAPIN/CAPEX
§ Optimize energetic spares stock holding
§ Scope and define projects
§ Manage acceptance tests and handover processes
§ Manage contractor
§ Evaluate suppliers and define costs
§ Lead project team
Qualifications and skills
required
The occupant of this position
should possess;
§ B.SC in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial
Engineering
§ Deep prior experience in a senior maintenance
management role
§ In-depth understanding of world class
manufacturing, asset care & CMMS
Key competencies and attributes:
§ High financial and systems numeracy

§ Good communication skills

§ Good understanding of the principles and practices

4. Job Title: Training Specialist (Brewing)
Job Summary:
The Training Specialist (Brewing)
who will report to the Brewing Manager will create and sustain a progressive
learning environment by providing effective service to the value chain, focused
on competence acquisition and performance
Special duties and
responsibilities:
§ Amongst other duties, the Training Specialist
(Brewing) will;
§ Co-ordinate learning, coaching and development
activities for brewing
§ Co-ordinate training assessments on brewing teams
§ Assist in the development of standard operating
procedures (SOP’s)
§ Carry out competence assessments
§ Deliver shop floor and supervisory training
§ Plan and initiate development and learning

§ Evaluate the efficiency of training
§ Develop and acquire resource and solutions within area
of specialization
Qualifications and skills

§ Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
preferably in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment
