IGI is recruiting for a Head of Marketing. The overall purpose of the role is to Drive Marketing Targets. Report to the Marketing Director, the ideal candidate will possess a B.Sc. Degree (2nd Class lower) or HND (upper credit) in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Insurance or any other Social Sciences ; A professional qualification such as ACII, FCII is a must; Possession of an MBA is an advantage; Minimum of 15 years cognate experience; Must be computer literate; Proven ability to work with people; Excellent marketing and product development skills; Ability to interface with decision makers at the highest level for business contact is very essential for this position. Job description / Responsibilities The successful candidate will occupy Senior Management Position and would be responsible for: Designing and implementation of annual marketing plans to enhance profitability; Supervising and motivating the marketing team to meet set business targets Formulating and overseeing the implementation of the various marketing strategies of the company Developing effective marketing and business development strategies for the company’s range of products and services Effective management of marketing and customer relationship functions of the company Ensuring excellent customer services by identifying customer needs/preferences Driving sustainable and profitable growth by optimizing marketing effort of existing products and develop new products Marketing and promoting the sale of all brands of the company products and services Deadline is 1st April 2008.
