- The Systems Support Specialist will work closely with the internal customers / users and vendors to ensure that the deployed mission critical solution provide the required business benefits through the adoption and implementation of best practice in systems management and operation with world class user support capability.
Role Description:
- The Systems Support Specialist will work with technically experienced, but business focused team to analyze, enhance and manage the support of application and user request and functionalities on a daily basis. The systems required include Mobile commerce applications like MVoucher, Payphone, EVD/TPG and Loyalty application;
- Resolves application problems expeditiously with minimum disruption to system users and coordinates user requirements;
- The Systems Support Specialist will actualize policies and procedures guiding the applications above to ensure that integrity of applications are not compromised and maintain optimum security of all data in the platform for business continuity and contingency planning purpose;
- The Systems Support Specialist will directly work hand in hand with the application users making sure that their requirements are met and reports are accurate thereby ensuring that the system is up and running at all time.
- The Systems Support Specialist will work closely with the vendors during implementation and ensure that the user needs are met and requirements are properly implemented to ensure the deployed solution provide the required business benefits through the adoption and implementation of best practice in systems management and operation with world class user support capability.
- Collaborates with other functions within the departments in support of various applications, develop and maintain documentation for supported infrastructure.
- Examines and evaluates existing systems and procedures and identifies courses of action. Requirement for Suitable Candidates:
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years post NYSC.
- High level of computing, Database Management, SQL/PLSQL queries, Web application tools, application support, business analysis, Windows and UNIX scripting, customer management and reporting skill using intelligent tools as it impact on business.
- High proficiency and good knowledge of organization information infrastructure and end-user support.
- High knowledge of software development lifecycle,
- Understanding of Telecommunications Business.
- Vendor management.
