 More than 100 high-voltage substations and a recently completed 414-MW gas turbine plant from Siemens are ensuring the reliability of the country's power supply. In fiscal 2008 (October 1, 2007 - September 30, 2008), sales to customers in Nigeria amounted to EUR 82 million. New orders totaled almost EUR 24 million. Siemens currently has more than 100 employees in Nigeria.

Due to expansion of our projects activities in Nigeria, we are currently in need of experienced and motivated Projects Commercial Manager and Sales Engineer


1. Job Title: Sales Engineer
CADRE: Sales Engineer (Power Control & Protection)
Location: (Abuja)
Qualifications
• B. Eng/B. Sc or Equivalent In Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• Post Graduate Degree will be an added advantage
Requirements
• Minimum 5 Years Post NYSC relevant experience
• Must have demonstrable strong technical knowledge of Power Transmission and Distribution Networks.
• Sound knowledge of Power System Protection and Substation Automation Systems Knowledge of Telecommunications Solutions for Utilities and Industry Sector
• Proficiency in Computer applications
• Sales experience with a visible thirst for success
• Be dynamic with pleasant personalities
Responsibilities
• Coordination of Sales activities plus Business Development
• Preparation of Tenders and Offers
• Project Management


2. Job Title: Project Commercial Manager
Functional Area: Consulting
Key Tasks:
• Planning, controlling. Reporting on Business level (fully)
• Responsible to perform all types of financial analysis, review and forecasts (fully)
• Month/quarter/year end closings for overall business (fully)
• Financial reports (profit/loss statement. Statement of financial position, cash flow) (fully)
• Monitoring and controlling of centre (fully)
• Information Management, support and advice for management, ongoing analysis of
business figures to recommend adequate action and provide information (fully)
• Budget planning and controlling
• Reconciliation of inter- company transactions
• Liaising between project sites, regional headquarter and headquarter in Germany
• Procurement management
• People management: within functional area select, deploy and develop employees under relevant company policies, aligns all members toward team excellence in order to ensure long-term company success with motivated high calibre employees
• Supporting all administrative work related to Project business ( may include travelling within the country and abroad)
• Contract management including processing of claims
Key knowledge:

Experience:
• 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in international project management
will be an advantage

Qualifications
• BSC/HND Accounting/Finance Related Course, Experience in Business Administration is essential. Professional Accounting Qualification/MBA would be an advantage
• Successful track record as financial and operations manager
• Ability to independently plan and execute complex tasks while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focussed on long term strategy
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to anticipate and solve problems.
