Job Position: Packaging Manager

Location: Lagos
Reports to: Senior Manager Packaging
Job Descriptions:

• Manage all packaging related activities in line with the organizations bsiness plans
• Manage all major packaging  change projects
• Assess and audits all new and current packaging suppliers as and when required
• Raise specifications in a timely manner
• Lead packaging Margin improvements
• Work closely with and mentor/train subordinate
• Seek out innovative options for our current and new packaging projects
• Assist in standardizing all our meet the regulatory/standards requirements
• Introduce systems/paperwork for all our process
• Assist in purchasing packaging equipment
• Support our technical team to resolve packaging related issues

Competency Requirement

• Analytical mind
• Business acumen
• Packaging and packaging specifications
• People management

Qualification:

• Minimum BSC (Minimum Second Class Lower) / HND (Minimum Lower Credit from a reputable university, either in Nigeria or abroad, in food, science or Engineering related fields. 
• A diploma from the UK institute of packaging an M.SC (Sciences or Social sciences) or an MBA will be an added advantage.

Person Specification

Minimum 5 years work experience in an FMCG company or/and a research agency within a packaging environment is essential
