JOB TITLE: QUALITY CONTROLS MANAGERS

LOCATION: Lagos

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø  The job holder has full responsibility for ensuring that quality standards set by regulatory bodies and Pepsico International,

Ø  Implement good Manufacturing practices (GMP), and house-keeping in the plant, and maintain a hygienic environment.

Ø  Ensure that the company adheres to standards set by PI regulatory policies on good manufacturing process.

Ø  Liaise with PI, and government officials in relation to product quality, process, packaging and consumer contacts

Ø  Handle Laboratory GMP

Ø  Ensure production line GMP and house-keeping implemented

Ø  Manage chemicals and Lab equipment usages

Ø  Ensure that the entire required testing regimes are implemented in the plant

Ø  Ensure availability of appropriate quality control equipments and chemicals to carry out necessary tests

Ø  Responsible for date coding consumables and coder efficiency

Ø  Conduct regular surveys to improve product quality and reduce wastage

Ø  Provide management with timely and accurate report on quality performance at plant and in the trade

Ø  Prepare action plans to achieve sustainable product quality by the plant

THE PERSON

This is a management position and the successful applicant will be expected to havethe following minimum qualifications:

Ø  A university degree or HND in Physical Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Food Science and Technology

Ø  8 years experience in Quality Control/Assurance function in Food/Beverage sector,

Ø  Three of which must be in management capacity

Ø  Must also be proficient in Laboratory, Chemical and Physical analysis, problem solving, performance management, planning and control

Ø  Good knowledge of bottling technology and operation.

Ø  Between 35 and 40 years age bracket

Ø  Must be highly computer literate
