Vacancies in a Fixed Wire Telecom Company

Engineers: 1. Switch Engineers - (Ref:SEO-101) 2. Network Administrators/I.P. Engineer - (Ref:NOCE:102) 3. Splicing/Transmission Engineers - (STE-103) 4. ELP Technicians (ELP-117) The Persons *Must have a degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. MBA would be an added adavantage *Must have a minimum of 5 years cognate experience in the industry *Must be a self-starter, self driven and extremely result oriented *Must be technically sound and ensure all network elements are continously monitored, logged and faults dispatched timely *Must keep abreast of all network technology and services *A Master degree in MIS or IT certification is an added advantage *Must have experience in the design of IP infrastructure, deployment and solutions *Working knowledge of an infrasrtucture management and optimization tools *Must have a good knowledge of communication designs (voice comms) *Must be able to optimize in-house and outsourced developed solutions' data design *Ability to work proficiently with any or all these switches Semien, Hawaii and Isreal is a must Manitenance Officer - (Ref:MO-104) The Person: *A BSc in Electrical Engineering, IT or Telecommunications with at least 3 years technical experience in a fixed wire telecomm firm or NITEL *Must possess sufficient technical ability to identify and rectify network problems *Must possess ability to investigate poor network performances, faults, network quality and high level support unit and deal with complaints Qualified candidates should send their application letters, detailed resumes, one passport photograph, daytime telephone number and forward to: The Human Resource Manager P.M.B. 603, Garki Abuja All candidates must quote the reference number for the desired posts on the right side of the envelop.
